Personal Time Off

Personal Time Off (“PTO”) provides Associates with flexible paid time off from work that can be used for vacations, personal or family illness, doctor appointments, volunteerism or any reason important to you.

Personal Time Off time is accrued biweekly with each paycheck. The amount of time accrued is dependent on your completed years of service.

New Associates joining the company will receive 40 hours PTO on their first day with the company. New Associates will then accrue an additional 80 hours of PTO during the first year, for a total of 120 hours of PTO.

Full-Time Associates also receive a one-time award of additional PTO hours upon attaining certain Service Milestone Anniversaries.

Whenever possible, Personal Time Off must be scheduled in advance. PTO is subject to supervisory approval, department staffing needs and established departmental procedures. PTO may be taken in increments of as low as one hour.

NOTE:  Upon leaving employment with the Fischer Group, any unused, accrued PTO will be paid out on an associate’s final check.

If an associate has been employed less than 1 year, the initial 40 hours advanced to them will NOT be paid out (40 hours will be deducted from their PTO payout).

Sales Counselors on the High Potential program are not eligible to receive payment for unused accrued Personal Time Off upon separation from the Fischer Group.
