Health Savings Accounts (“HSAs”) are Associate owned savings accounts that allow Associates to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified expenses. The accounts are available through WEX in calendar year 2025.
Associates enrolled in either the HSA Plus or the HSA Basic plan are eligible to contribute to an HSA. Associates will be auto enrolled into their HSA account through WEX in 2025.
You will receive a benefits debit card which is the fastest and most convenient way to pay for eligible expenses. One debit card will cover both the HSA and the FSA.
Fischer Homes contributes to Associate HSA accounts with each paycheck – helping you save for the future and making it easier to meet the deductible for your health care plan. Fischer Homes makes this contribution even if you do not contribute to the account. The table below shows the Fischer Homes contribution for each plan and coverage level.
Bi-Weekly | Annual | |||
HSA Plus | HSA Basic | HSA Plus | HSA Basic | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Associate Only | $30 | $45 | $720 | $1,080 |

Annually, the IRS establishes contribution limits for HSA accounts. The total of your contributions plus the Fischer Homes company contribution cannot exceed this amount.

Associates age 55 and older can contribute an additional $1,000 annually.
